I enjoyed using different graphics to create something new and original. I chose to do a perfume because I personally love perfume, and I think that there is a lot of creative freedom that comes with it. There is a lot of whimsy surrounding women’s perfumes, so I leaned into that aesthetic. I also leaned into the pink and florals to create a brand identity for this perfume. While this is a good draft so far, there is much to be improved.
I redid this assignment because I realized that it’s really hard to make a graphic advertisement when you add on top of an image. What I did this time is create a whole new add by adding assets together to create something new. I think it looks at least a little better, because it’s less busy and you are able to get the point across easier. I wanted my ad to feel flowy and etherial, so I added cursive fonts with a soft pink cloudy background. Overall I think I did alright, theres always room for improvement.
